Smoldering Sapphire
Abigail Breslin's rich blue shades of shadow and liner are a great way to take a break from more somber tones. The pretty pink lip color is also great for brightening a smoky-eyed look. Start by sweeping on midnight blue liner along the top and bottom lash lines and inner rims and lightly smudging harsh lines with fingers or a cotton swab. Next, apply a smoky blue shadow along the top lids and blend color up into creases. Use an icy blue, white or ivory to highlight brow bones and finish with a coat or two of mascara. For lips, apply a sheer pink lipstick with lots of shine.

Heavy Metal
Kristen Stewart's intense eye look uses shimmery metallic shadows and soft frosty pink for lips. Begin by sweeping a light metallic silver over lids, from lash line to brow bone. Then, use a black eye pencil to line top and bottom lash lines and inner rims. Next, sweep on a deep gunmetal gray metallic over the lids and blend a metallic silvery plum shade on the top part of lids and up into creases. Blending should create a gradation of color going from darkest at the lash line to lightest along the brow bones. To finish, apply lots of mascara and lip gloss.

Jewel-Like Jade
Ashley Greene's smoky jade shadow has a pearlescent finish giving it a sparkly gem-like quality. To recreate Ashley's look, sweep a dark metallic jade green over lids and blend the color up into the creases. Use the shadow to heavily line under the eyes, too, and finish with a few coats of mascara.

Cranberry and Ice
Leona Lewis' super smoky eye and dark lip look breaks the rule about playing up just one feature at a time. However, the combination of colors is so appealing, we're willing to violate cosmetics law. Begin by sweeping a pale silver shadow over lids, concentrating color at the inner corners. Next, take a deep metallic gray and apply at the outer corners and blend color up into creases. Then, add a heavy line of black pencil to top and bottom lash lines and a few coats of mascara. For lips, sweep on a pearly or metallic ruby or cranberry shade of lipstick and top with a hint of gloss for added shine.
